I Choose Freedom

I Choose Freedom provides refuge and a path to freedom to adult and child survivors fleeing domestic abuse. Our communal and individual refuges across East and West Surrey provide shelter, care and advocacy for over 100 adults and 150 children each year. Survivors in our care are the highest risk, those at risk of murder if they remained in the family home.

The Lucy Rayner Foundation

The Lucy Rayner Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of mental health issues in young people. Our mission is to ensure that no family has to endure the tragedy of losing a loved one to suicide. I sadly lost my sister and this is why the charity is set up. We provide free counselling and other services to prevent another person feel the way Lucy did.

Crawley open house

Crawley Open House has helped people experiencing homelessness and severe disadvantage locally for more than 30 years.
Every night we are ‘home’ to 65 men and women who live in our high-support hostel or one of our move-on houses in the community. We have an outreach team that supports those staying on the streets, in tents, vehicles or in insecure and temporary accommodation.
We resettle nearly 70% of the people we help into somewhere more permanent.

Good Company is working towards a community free from poverty, where everyone can afford life’s essentials. We support local people through foodbanks, pantries, advice cafés, and community projects across Surrey.

Jigsaw south east

Jigsaw South East are a small, local charity providing information and guidance to help support children and young people facing or coping with the death of a loved one. We support families in Surrey, and nearby areas of Sussex and Kent. Our dedicated support workers helped over 900 children and young people last year through 1:1 support, group sessions, social activities and via our helpline.

With 127 children in the UK newly bereaved of a parent or caregiver every day, the demand for our services are increasing and we rely on the generosity of the local community to keep going.
