100K ROUTE

Elevation: 1106m

The 100K Route takes you through the Ashdown Forest, towards Lewes and then through Burstow. You’ll go up and over Turners Hill, through Ardingly and Horsted Keynes, into the Ashdown Forest and then up the King & Queen of the Mountain Challenge – Kidds Hill, before returning via Forest Row and Crawley Down.

50K ROUTE

Registration 7.00am
Start 8.45am – 9.15am
Elevation: 410m

The 50K Route heads south away from the North Downs on less travelled roads towards Lewes, through Burstow and then up and over Turners Hill. The route then returns via Crawley Down and Smallfield.

25K FAMILY ROUTE

Registration 8.30am
Start 9.15am – 9.45am
Elevation: 410m

The 25K Family Route will have a team of marshals on key junctions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. We also have a free ice cream for all under 15’s at the finish!

For mobile devices, you can use various cycling / fitness apps (e.g. Strava) to import the GPX files directly into the app. If you have downloaded it onto your computer, you’ll need to transfer it to your device and load it into your app.

WHEN IS IT?

WHERE IS IT?
Reigate College, Rushworth Road, Reigate RH2 0QF (main car park on Rushworth Road)

We recommend cycling, running or walking to the event if you live locally. If you drive to the event, there are a couple of car parks very close to the College. The cost to park in a charity sponsored car park is £4.00 for the full day – paid directly to the charity.

All distances start and finish from Reigate College, Rushworth Road, Reigate RH2 0QF.

WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
100K will start in small groups from 8:00am-8:45am.

50K will start in small groups from 8:45am-9:15am.

25K will also start in small groups, from 9:15am-9:45am.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
The minimum age to take part in the 100k & 50K is 16 years old on the day of the event. The minimum age for the 25K is 7 years old on the day of the event.

All under 18’s must ride with a supervising adult.

HOW DO I GET MY RIDE NUMBER?

All Ride Reigate numbers are to be collected on the morning of the event from the Information and Registration point within Reigate College.

To avoid queuing and congestion on the day, please arrive at your designated registration time:

● 100k registration 7.00am-8.15am

● 50k registration 8.00am-9:00am

● 25k registration 8:45am-9.15am

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY?

Entry Transfer Option

  • Transfer to Another RunThrough Event – If you’re unable to attend, no problem at all. You have the option to transfer your entry to any other fantastic RunThrough event. Normally everything associated with your entry fee, including your race pack, medal, and post-race goodies, has been prepared and allocated – sometimes you may have even had your pack sent in the post already. Please note, that to ensure a seamless transfer to another event, it’s essential to initiate the process at least 5 days before the event date. You can start the transfer process by heading to our transfer portal and the cost is £10 to transfer.

 

  • Transfer to a Friend – Alternatively, if you’d like a friend to experience the race in your place, we’re more than happy to assist with this transfer process too, the cost to do this is £15. Access our transfer portal here to start the transfer to your friend.

  • Change of Distance – If you’re considering changing the distance for your entry, we’re here to help make that happen smoothly for a £5 fee. You can begin the process by accessing our dedicated transfer portal.

 

Please be aware that with any of the options you will incur a £5 admin fee. If you have purchased a Flexi Package when entering the race this does not apply and you will be able to make unlimited changes to your race entry up until 24 hours prior to the event.

 

We understand that plans can change, and you may need to transfer or change your participation in one of our events. However, please note our transfer policy as outlined below:

 

Transfer Policy within 5 Days to the Event Date

If you have made an inquiry or request to transfer your participation within 5 days leading up to the event date, we regret to inform you that transfers are no longer allowed. This late in the process, everything associated with your entry fee, including your race pack, medal, and post-race goodies, has been prepared and allocated.

 

Virtual Participation Option

Alternatively, we offer the option for participants to run the event virtually. If you opt for this, kindly provide us with a copy of your recorded run and confirm your postal address. Upon receipt, we’ll promptly send out your event medal via post.

 

NO Refund Policy

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for event entries.

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO COMPLETE THE RACE?
All riders in the Ride Reigate 100k and 50k Challenge have six hours to complete their ride from the departure of the last start wave. We expect the final participants to finish no later than 15:30 hours. This equates to an average speed of 10 mph for those participating in the 100k Challenge to be able to complete the ride within the cut off time. There will be a sweep minibus following the route behind the last cyclist to offer support, assistance and advice if needed.
DO YOU HAVE A BAG DROP?
Yes there will a designated area inside that you can leave your bag at your own risk.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS / CHANGING AREA?
We do not have showers or changing areas at the event so please come ready to ride, but make use of that bag drop for a change afterwards!
ARE THERE ANY TOILETS?
Yes, there will be toilet facilities at the start/finish and at the rest stops on the 100K and 50K routes.

Please note there are no toilets on the 25K route.
