“As a Run Reigate “regular”, I was really excited to take part in this new event. I was expecting the usual well-organised event, great experience and a fantastic medal and I was not disappointed. The route was varied – plenty of mud, solid sections, a weir and some good undulations to make it challenging”.

The location was absolutely gorgeous and, although challenging, I would say it’s one of the best races I’ve done in terms of views and varying terrain. The amount of dogs enjoying themselves at the event topped the day off perfectly! The only downside is they only do one a year. Would love to see another event here or another trail race in the calendar.”

ROUTE

Please be advised as this is a multi terrain trail race there are steep declines, a weir to cross and a narrow uneven trim trail included along the route making our Trail Race very exciting!

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Trail and Canicross are based entirely within Gatton Park. Use RH2 0TW or ///dizzy.leaves.grass to get to the venue and then everything will be well signposted for you.

HOW DO I GET MY RACE NUMBER?
Numbers are dynamically allocated, this means you can collect it on the day quickly and easily. Race numbers will be available on the day from 7.30am at the Info Point in front of Gatton Hall.

You can collect for friends, just provide their details at the point of collection.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY?

Refunds:
As with the vast majority of races, we can’t offer a refund unless you select refundable booking at checkout. Please see our participant Terms and Conditions for more information.

Deferrals to future events:
Our deferral policy has had to change in order to sustain our small business going forward. We can no longer support deferrals to the following year. We have always tried our best to be flexible, however this now has to be balanced with finite resources and rising costs. To protect your race place from injury and other unforeseen circumstances, we now have optional refundable booking for 10% of your registration fee. If you choose not to take up this option, please do not ask us for a refund or deferral to another event as we will not be able to do this. Thank you for your understanding.

Change Your Distance / Transfer your place to another runner:
You can transfer your distance or transfer your entry to another runner, simply log in to your registration and select the relevant option on the left-hand menu bar.

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO COMPLETE THE RACE?
No, there is no time limit to complete the races and have your finish time recorded. However, please note that two hours after the start our marshals will be stood down. Bear in mind that you will have to walk and run on multi-terrain. All runners are encouraged to continue running and every finisher will be chip timed.
ARE WHEELCHAIR ENTRIES ALLOWED?
Unfortunately due to the nature of the route it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
ARE PUSHCHAIRS / DOGS ALLOWED?
Due to the nature of the course we are not able to accommodate pushchairs, it’s just too narrow in places. Dogs, YES! But they need to run in the Canicross event.
DO YOU HAVE A BAG DROP?
A free bag drop is available for all participants, please see your runner number for how to make use of this.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS / CHANGING AREA?
We do not have showers or changing areas at the event so please come ready to run, but make use of that bag drop for a change afterwards!
